Roofing Know-How + Soft Wash Equipment

Years of roofing experience back our tried-and-true roof and house soft washing. Knowing what to look for, where water can go as well as where it shouldn’t go is a huge benefit for homeowners who want the best roof soft washing in Hot Springs.

We don’t blast asphalt shingles with high pressure, and we use low-impact flowing nozzles and pressure to help your roof, not hurt it.

Your roof can look new again, not to mention siding, trim, driveways and patios! We wash with high pressure when and where needed of course, so spotless patios and driveways get what they need and boost curb appeal too.

Temple Roofing makes sure each surface gets the treatment it truly needs, and you get the best bang-for-the-buck in Hot Springs and beyond!

Why Soft Wash?

Sometimes more power is not the right answer!

Soft washing uses low-pressure pumps and, where needed, gentle detergents to dissolve organic growth instead of blasting it.

Soft washing techniques are ideal for:

  • Asphalt-shingle or metal roofs – avoids granule loss, paint damage, seal damage

  • Vinyl or fiber-cement siding – helps prevent water intrusion behind laps

  • Stucco, wood shake, or painted trim – helps keep fragile finishes intact

A gentle rinse leaves surfaces clean without the blow-back that can drive water under flashing or crack brittle seals.

When Power Washing Works Better:

While soft washing handles most molds and mildews, some surfaces benefit from the extra push of higher-pressure water. Think of power washing as the “deep scrub” setting on a cleaning appliance. Super useful when the surface is built to take it and the grime refuses to budge!

  • Tough Concrete Stains
Oil drips, tire rubber, and years of embedded dirt on standard driveways often respond faster to a well-controlled 2,000-psi surface cleaner than to detergents alone. A quick blast can shorten cleaning time and help lighten dark patches that make a driveway look worn.

  • Brick and Stone with Deep Joints
Patio pavers and brick walkways collect moss between joints. A moderate-pressure rinse lifts moss and sand without soaking the surrounding beds.

  • Peeling Paint or Flaking Sealer
Before repainting an older deck rail or re-sealing a patio, a higher-pressure fan tip can strip loose material more efficiently than hand scraping, giving new coatings a better bonding surface.

When the stains call for extra muscle, power washing paired with the right techniques can lift buildup without harming the surface. Our team weighs the pros and cons for each material and chooses the gentlest setting that still gets the job done.
