There are not enough positive words to describe our experiences with Hunter Temple, owner of Temple Roofing and Exteriors. While he may be a new business owner, his extensive knowledge and experience in the industry is clear from the moment you meet him. A little over a year ago, before Hunter started his own company, we received a word-of-mouth referral based on work he had done for an acquaintance. This was by far the best referral we have ever received. He proved his expertise by fixing a stubborn leak near our chimney —a problem that had stumped several other roofers over the course of nearly 20 year. Hunter found the source of the problem on his very first visit and fixed it. We were so impressed that we decided from that moment on we would use him for all our future roofing projects and repairs. This past August, my father, an 80-year-old recent widower in need of a new roof had decided he was going to ignore his insurance company's requirement to replace the roof because he did not want to deal with it or be taken advantage of by anyone. During a conversation about the roof, I reminded my dad about the young man who fixed my roof, and my dad agreed to let me contact Hunter on his behalf. Hunter showed up on the date and time he scheduled to give us his estimate. After reviewing the estimate my dad and I felt Hunter provided us with an honest and fair replacement estimate so we scheduled the roof replacement. A few days before work was scheduled to start, I went to check on my dad to ask if he had any questions about the roof or if he needed anything. When I arrived at my dad’s house, I found Hunter sitting at my dad's kitchen table, discussing life and not just roofs. Despite his busy schedule, Hunter was took the time to visit and listen to a lonely elderly man. Hunter waited patiently to go over his roofing project plan for my dad's roof. Hunter showed deep respect for his elders and took the time to go over every detail and decision with both my dad and me before starting any work. He followed up with calls and texts to ensure we did not have any questions or there were any changes to be made before he started the roofing project. My dad's new roof is beautiful. The quality of the work is absolutely top-notch, and they even started and finished the entire job ahead of the projected schedule. Hunter and his team were professional, efficient, hardworking, and left the job site spotless—better than they found it.
